COUNCIL SERVICES

What sort of funding is available from Council?

Council offers several types of grant, either from its own funding, or in partnership with external Boards and organisations.

For example:

Community Services will annually advertise funding to assist with running costs. This call is normally made in April or May of each year.

Dependent on funding available, the Good Relations programme will advertise for potential applicants who wish to undertake community relations work in their areas. Check back to this site for further details.

Economic Development will occasionally make calls for interested businesses who wish to avail of funding. However, most funding is made through partner organisations such as Roe Valley Enterprises.

Council also facilitates some amounts of European Funding, subject to availability, through organisations such as Limavady Area Partnership or Roe Valley Rural Development. This funding is always publicly advertised, and will be announced on this website when available. Some new funds may be available in 2007.

The Culture, Arts and Tourism Department will also have some funding available for programmes such as Festivals, events, arts or cultural events. Again, more details will be advertised and available on this website when this funding is released.
