Freedom Of Information

Home » Freedom Of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 applies to a range of public authorities which includes Limavady Borough Council. Anyone can request access to information held by the Council subject to a number of exemptions included in the Act.

All Freedom of Information requests are dealt with at the council. Please complete the information below and we will be in contact soon.

You might want to know more about "Freedom of Information". A short series of frequently-asked questions can be found here (this will open in a separate window).

The Council does have a publication scheme. You can find a range of publications here. This will also open in a separate window.

Council often commissions documents such as evaluations, research, publicity material or studies. Limavady Borough Council endeavours to ensure that once approved by Council, these are posted on the relevant section of the website. If there is something you require but cannot find, please contact a member of staff pertinent to your enquiry on 028 777 22226.
