- Reduce the amount of junk mail you receive by registering with the Mailing Preference Service (MPS) on 0845 703 4599 or online at http://www.mpsonline.org.uk
Useful Tips To Reuse
- Reuse plastic bags when buying groceries or alternatively purchase a “Bag for life”
- Buy “Real Nappies” rather than disposables. Access the website http://www.wen.org.uk
- Give your books, toys etc. to charity shops. Also check out www.freecycle.org
- Where possible repair old items rather than purchasing a new one

- Make sure you are recycling all you can in your blue bin
- Use the recycling facilities at the civic amenity and bring sites
- Use the Green Garden Waste Bag to recycle your green waste at the CA site or purchase a home composter and do it yourself
