  • Everyone welcome on free guided walks! 04/07/2008

    Limavady Borough Council has teamed up with the Roe Valley Rambling Club to offer the opportunity for members of the local community and visitors to the area to join in two free guided walks this summer. 

  • Play your part for Peace III - become a social partner! 03/07/2008

    Coleraine, Limavady, Moyle, Ballymoney, Ballymena and Larne Councils have formed a North East cluster and developed a strategy for Peace III funding in the region. Coleraine Borough Council, as lead Council for the management of the process, on behalf of the group, has issued a call for social partners who would like to get involved to come forward and apply to be a member of the new Peace Partnership body. With an award from the Special European Union Programmes Body of up to £3.8 million coming to the area inside the next three years this is an exciting time. Expertise and input from a range of sectors in the community will be needed to assist in the delivery of this funding.

  • Good Relations Funding: opens 30 June 2008! 26/06/2008

    This year's Good Relations Programme funding will open on Monday 30 June. The criteria for the Council’s Good Relations Grant Aid Policy remains in line with the Council’s existing Good Relations strategy. The following criteria and principles have been adopted for 2008/2009.

  • Final Rural Development Programme Consultation! 17/06/2008

    Omagh District Council, Derry City Council, Limavady Borough Council and Strabane District Council have formed a cluster for the purposes of the delivery of the RDP Axis 3, which is aimed at improving the quality of life in rural areas and diversifying the rural economy. The Councils, in partnership with the Local Action Group (LAG), are required to prepare and submit a strategy and action plan to DARD to draw down funding to the cluster area.

  • Sustainable Development Policy and Action Plan Adopted By Council 11/06/2008

    The Council adopted a new Sustainable Development and Action Plan in March 2008.
