A tranquil riverside picnic area at the foot of Binevenagh Mountain on the Causeway Coastal Route. The site is well used by canoeists using the River Roe, the annual Doggy Paddle event is held here each April, and the accessible angling stands are also popular.  Its proximity to Binevenagh Mountain & Forest makes it a popular site for walkers exploring the area. Interpretative signs are located within the area, providing useful fishing and tourist information. Disabled anglers access based at the bridge makes this spot popular with fishing enthusiasts.
