Sampson’s Tower, a fortified structure of rubble and sandstone, was built by public subscription in memory of Arthur Sampson, an agent of the London Fishmongers Company for nearly forty years.  The Tower stands on private land at Farlow Road, just a short distance from the Rough Fort, and requires permission from the owner for access.
