Martello Tower

At Magilligan Point, stands a well preserved Martello Tower built during
the Napoleonic Wars with walls over 9ft thick, it marks the entrance to
Lough Foyle. Built in 1812 at the end of the wars, it is one of the most
northerly of the towers built around the coast of Ireland.
