Immerse yourself in the fascinating and suprising history of the North West.

As soon as you enter the museum you will begin to see the area in a new light when you see the beautiful panoramic view of Lough foyle.

Once inside the Aviation history gallery, you will discover the early history of powered flight by Harry Ferguson who flew his aircraft at the location of the museum in the summer of 1910.

Interactive displays and collections of artefacts of local and national significance will take you on a journey with Sir Ernest Shackleton, Joseph Cordner, Amelia Earhart, General Balbo, Sir Richard Branson, the story of WWII aviation covering 22 airfields in Northern Ireland, The Cold War and The Northern Ireland troubles.
