Details

Opening Night - Wednesday 8th September

A mass to celebrate the life and death of Eddie Butcher at 7.30pm at St Aidans Church Magilligan. Afterwards by the fire side, local singers for songs in the Point Bar Magilligan - 9pm til late. Free admission

Thursday 9th September

Singing music session in The Cairn, Greencastle with local Inishowen singers from around the country with light refreshments, starts at 8pm - Free Admission

Friday 10th September

Bobs Bistro Magilligan, 3 course meal with special guest Len Graham and many more singers from all over Ireland. Starts at 8pm - Admission £10 BOOKINGS ONLY - contact Brian on 077928 46699

Saturday 11th September

Workshop in Magilligan Presbyterian Church Hall, also a talk by Seamus O'Kane about the Downhill Harp.

11am - 1pm - Singing workshop by Jim McFarlane

1pm - 2pm - A break for lunch

2pm - 3.30pm - A talk about the Downhill Harp plus Harpers

3.30pm - 5pm - Singing workshop with Co. Antrim singer Mairead Walls

Everyone Welcome - Admission Free

Then to Benone Tourist Complex at 8pm for the concert with music and singers from all over Ireland. Admission Free and Refreshments for all.
