This exhibition features items relating to Drumcovitt, a large house and estate located just outside Feeny. The house was built over 300 years ago on land owned by the Fishmongers Company. The exhibition focuses on a specific period of the house’s history, from the mid 1800s to the late 1900s, when it was under the ownership of Mr. S.G.M. Craig. The items on display include rental receipts, rates books and letters all of which relate to the estate and surrounding area. The exhibition will also include a display of photographs taken in the 1930s during a busy and important stage of rumcovitt’s development when the land around the house was actively used for farming.
